ASA Members, Here are some grant opportunities that may be of interest. 2023 Clean School Bus Grant (CSB) Grant Program - DUE 8/22/2023: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a funding opportunity for FY 2023 Clean School Bus Program. View Opportunity | GRANTS.GOV This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications from eligible entities to incentivize and accelerate the replacement of existing school buses with clean and ZE school buses. Applications will be accepted from state and local governmental entities that provide bus service, including public school districts; eligible contractors; nonprofit school transportation associations; Indian Tribes, Tribal organizations, or Tribally-controlled schools responsible for the purchase, lease, license, or contract for service of school buses or for providing school bus service for a Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) funded school. Water Conservation Grant Fund - DUE 5/19/2023: The WCGF aims to promote voluntary water conservation programs or projects that are expected to result in long-term reductions in water use, improvements in water use efficiency, and/or improvements in water reliability. Click HERE for more information. It may be a stretch, but perhaps this grant would fund converting grass fields to turf to conserve water.  It could be worth trying!
