Governor Hobbs Takes Action on Important Issues Impacting School District Capital Facilities

Governor Hobbs has just issued two executive orders dealing with important issues related to providing for the modernization of school district capital facilities and allowing for increased safety and security of school facilities.. Executive Order 2023-15 deals with establishing a Stakeholder Council to Update the Minimum Adequacy Guidelines for School Facilities. A second executive order, Executive Order 2023-14, deals with Increasing the "Frequency and Effectiveness of School Facilities Inspections". These executive orders both deal with important issues related to the modernization of school facilities and to provide for increased security and safety in all Arizona school districts.These actions by the Governor are important to our Arizona schools.
